The first Topgolf in Ridgeland opens in just a few hours.
It's the golf entertainment chain's first location in Mississippi. Topgolf has more than 100 venues worldwide.
Developers broke ground in February on the new Topgolf, which is off Interstate 55, near Colony Park Boulevard.
"Quality of life in Ridgeland is one of the most important things to us and we do everything we can to make the quality of life better," said Ridgeland Mayor Gene McGee.
Topgolf has broken ground for its Panama City Beach location, which is now under construction. It is set to open in Summer 2025.
Topgolf is one of the most popular and exciting projects Panama City Beach is working on. It will be a two-level golf-entertainment venue on Powell Adams Drive south of the intersection of Panama City Beach Parkway adjacent to Pier Park.
According to a press release, once open, Topgolf Panama City Beach will employ roughly 275-300 people.

Dollar General also plans to open their first international stores in Mexico some time in 2023.
